Delivering your climate change targets: Regional workshops – autumn 2008
The key national and regional climate change organisations, including the Nottingham Declaration Partnership, are running parallel streams of regional workshops to help local authorities deliver against their targets for climate change adaptation and mitigation.
The adaptation workshops form the opening events for a 3 year project to help local authorities to prepare for the impacts of climate change.

Statement from Nottingham Declaration Partnership on Nottingham Declaration Accreditation
The Nottingham Declaration Accreditation, referred to in the technical detail of NI 188, is not yet available. This is only one of several tools that the Partnership is considering developing. Local authorities and stakeholders will be consulted on these options over the summer. Any resulting scheme will be voluntary and designed to help local authorities better target their activity and reduce the burden of assessment.
Has your local authority signed?
Over 300 local authorities have already signed the declaration, but it's vital that all local authorities commit themselves to the process.
If your local authority is yet to sign, register today and we'll send you a declaration information pack. It shows you how to develop a sustainable energy strategy in your area. Alternatively phone the Energy Saving Trust's information service for local authorities on 0844 84 888 30 or email us.
The Nottingham Declaration Action Pack
This is a unique resource that is designed to support local authorities throughout the stages of developing a Climate Change Action Plan, from starting to address the challenges of climate change through to reviewing implemented plans. The Pack can be accessed via the tab at the top of the page.
